GXS Bank has officially launched the GXS Credit Card, an unlimited cashback credit card issued in partnership with Visa and designed in collaboration with Grab and Singtel.
The new card is aimed at helping consumers get more value from everyday spending across the Grab and Singtel ecosystem, with cashback and GrabCoins available on eligible transactions.
GXS Credit Cardholders can earn up to 10 per cent back in GrabCoins on eligible Grab transactions, including transport, food delivery and groceries. The GrabCoins can then be used to offset the cost of eligible Grab transactions such as food orders and rides. Cardholders also receive 1.75 per cent cashback when paying their Singtel bills.
There is no minimum spend requirement for Grab and Singtel transactions, allowing customers to earn from the first dollar spent. For other eligible purchases, cardholders earn a flat 1.75 per cent cashback, with no cap on the amount of cashback they can accumulate. A minimum monthly spend of S$500 within the billing cycle is required for cashback on other spending.
The card was tested through a month-long beta programme involving more than 1,000 customers. More than 90 per cent of beta testers used the GXS Credit Card for Grab and Singtel payments, while active beta users received an average of S$18 in cashback and GrabCoins equivalent during the programme.
Customers can apply for the GXS Credit Card through the GXS app. Grab customers can also apply for the card and use it immediately through the Grab app. According to GXS Bank, this marks the first time in Singapore that consumers can sign up for a bank-issued credit card through a third-party app, highlighting the integration of GXS Bank’s services within Grab.
To mark the launch, the first 1,000 customers who order a physical GXS Credit Card from 18 August 2026 at 12pm Singapore time will receive a limited-edition card. Customers can order the physical card through the GXS app.
The GXS Credit Card gives consumers a straightforward way to earn cashback on everyday spending, particularly for those who regularly use Grab services and pay their Singtel bills, while offering unlimited cashback on other eligible purchases when the monthly spending requirement is met.
