Tiong Bahru Plaza is bringing the world to one of Singapore’s most beloved food neighbourhoods with the return of its annual Bites Without Borders festival, running from 26 July to 30 August. Inspired by Tiong Bahru’s rich culinary heritage, the month-long event blends international flavours with local favourites through food markets, craft beer experiences, live performances, workshops and exclusive shopper rewards.

Held across the mall’s Main Atrium and outdoor event spaces, the festival reinforces Tiong Bahru Plaza’s role as a gateway to food discovery while celebrating the neighbourhood’s vibrant dining culture.
One of this year’s highlights is an outdoor collaboration between Singapore craft brewery The 1925 Brewing Co. and artisanal cheese specialist Cheeselads. From 4 to 16 August, visitors can enjoy a selection of locally brewed craft beers, with potential flavours including Lychee Lager, Yuzu Lager, Yellow Van Pale Ale, Kaya Stout or Cacao Stout, Good Boy Rocky and a National Day special brew. Founded in Singapore in 2013, The 1925 Brewing Co. is known for creating beers inspired by Asian herbs, flora, teas and regional flavours.
Beer enthusiasts can also join exclusive Beer & Cheese Appreciation Workshops on 8 and 9 August from 2pm to 3pm, where participants will explore expertly paired craft beers and artisanal cheeses through guided tasting sessions. Workshop passes can be redeemed at the Concierge with a minimum spend of S$50 across a maximum of two same day, same mall transactions at participating FRx stores. Each session is limited to the first 20 participants.
Adding to the festival atmosphere, live performances by Ryan 延龙 (Cher Yan Long) and Arya Yunata will take place across selected weekends, creating a lively setting where food, music and community come together.
Visitors can also embark on an international culinary journey at the festival’s food marketplace from 4 to 23 August. Taking over the Main Atrium for three weeks, the food fair will feature vendors offering flavours inspired by destinations including Thailand, Taiwan, Mexico, Japan and Switzerland.
The celebration extends beyond the festival pop ups with weekly FRx F&B Deal Drops, released every Monday at 12pm through the FRx Rewards Catalogue from 27 July to 17 August. Participating food and beverage tenants including PlayMade, Hoe Nam Vintage, Shiok Burger, FORE Coffee, A One Signature, Sakon Thai, KFC, Paris Baguette, Steak 99, Min Wei, rumeL and 4Fingers Crispy Chicken will offer limited time S$1, S$3 and one for one promotions.
Shoppers can also enjoy a range of rewards throughout the festival. Those who spend S$50 at participating food and beverage outlets, across a maximum of two same day, same mall transactions, can redeem a S$5 FRx Gift Card. Spending S$80 qualifies shoppers for an exclusive blind box plush luggage tag featuring one of four food inspired designs created by local illustrator Vera Sng (@temo.scribbles). Each collectible pays tribute to an iconic international dish while celebrating travel and culinary exploration.
Members of the FRx50+ programme aged 50 and above can receive an additional S$5 FRx Gift Card with a minimum spend of S$100, subject to the same transaction conditions, offering even more value during the festival period.
