CRYBABY Makes a Splash at Singapore Oceanarium with First Ever Oceanarium-Themed Activation

Fans of POP MART’s beloved CRYBABY character can look forward to a unique marine adventure as the CRYBABY Cry Me an Ocean activation arrives at the Singapore Oceanarium at Resorts World Sentosa from 24 June to 30 August 2026. Presented through a partnership between POP MART, Resorts World Sentosa and the Singapore Tourism Board, the event marks the first time a CRYBABY activation has been staged within a real oceanarium, blending collectible art, immersive storytelling and marine education in a one-of-a-kind setting.

The ocean-themed experience features 11 photo zones spread across the Singapore Oceanarium and its surrounding areas. Visitors can discover two towering outdoor inflatables, life-sized sculptures and interactive photo opportunities inspired by the popular Cry Me an Ocean collection, all set against the backdrop of one of the world’s largest oceanariums. By placing the characters within authentic marine habitats, the activation introduces a fresh and engaging way for visitors to connect with both the CRYBABY universe and the wonders of the ocean.

For this special showcase, CRYBABY has been reimagined as a cast of charming marine animals, each with its own personality and story. Accompanying every installation is a character board that introduces visitors to the marine-themed CRYBABY characters while encouraging a deeper appreciation of ocean life and marine conservation. The activation aligns with the Singapore Oceanarium’s mission of inspiring greater knowledge, love and action for the ocean through engaging and meaningful experiences.

The adventure begins even before guests enter the Singapore Oceanarium, with two striking five-metre-tall inflatables welcoming visitors. THE ANGLERFISH, depicted as a glowing deep-sea guide, and THE PUFFERFISH, bursting with character and charm, provide the first photo opportunities and set the tone for the underwater journey ahead.

Inside the attraction, visitors are greeted by THE WHALESHARK, a two-metre-tall sculpture inspired by one of the ocean’s most recognisable gentle giants. The trail continues through various galleries within the Singapore Oceanarium, including Ocean Wonders, the Shark Seas tunnel and the iconic Open Ocean viewing panel. Along the way, visitors will encounter additional CRYBABY marine characters presented through life-sized sculptures and immersive installations thoughtfully integrated alongside real marine habitats.

To complement the experience, a dedicated CRYBABY-themed POP-Up store will operate at WEAVE at Resorts World Sentosa throughout the activation period. Fans can browse and purchase Cry Me an Ocean collectibles and merchandise, with shoppers who present a same-day Singapore Oceanarium ticket and spend at least S$128 receiving an exclusive CRYBABY Cry Me an Ocean eyemask while stocks last.

Outdoor CRYBABY installations can be enjoyed free of charge, while access to installations within the Singapore Oceanarium requires a valid admission ticket. Singapore Oceanarium ticket prices are S$55 for adults aged 13 to 59, S$43 for children aged 4 to 12 and S$43 for seniors aged 60 and above.
