voco Orchard Singapore is turning Orchard Road into a celebration of art, culture and conservation with the arrival of Elephant Parade, a globally recognised public art initiative that combines creative expression with support for elephant welfare. Running from 1 June to 31 August 2026, the three-month campaign will transform the hotel into a vibrant showcase featuring art installations, workshops, social media activities and charity driven experiences designed to inspire meaningful connections and positive impact.
Supported by partners including Silk Walk, the Tourism Authority of Thailand Singapore Office and InterContinental Chiang Mai The Mae Ping, the initiative highlights the intersection of culture, creativity and purpose while encouraging greater awareness of wildlife conservation efforts.
At the heart of the campaign is “Indigo Wrap”, a striking Elephant Parade sculpture created by Thai artist Noppawan Nuansiri. First created in 2011 and part of a private collection, the large-scale artwork features bold floral motifs and intricate circular patterns inspired by indigo dyed textiles and traditional wrapped fabrics. The black and white design creates the visual impression of fabric draped across the elephant, symbolising harmony, renewal and joy through nature inspired artistry. It is one of only two large scale Elephant Parade sculptures currently on display in Singapore, making it a rare opportunity for visitors to experience the acclaimed artwork up close.
Adding to the experience is a Shop & Win campaign at D9 Cakery. Guests who purchase Elephant Parade merchandise during the campaign period will have a chance to win a Thailand getaway that includes a two-night stay for two at InterContinental Chiang Mai The Mae Ping, an Elephant Parade Land experience for two and a THB5,000 Central shopping card. The lucky draw winner will be announced on 1 September 2026.
The campaign also places a strong focus on community engagement through a partnership with TOUCH Community Services and its JOURNEY programme, which supports individuals with intellectual disabilities. From 15 June to 31 August, visitors can view and adopt 15 unique Elephant Parade inspired artworks hand painted by JOURNEY artists. Available for adoption at S$250 nett each, all proceeds from the sales will go towards supporting the programme and its initiatives.
Social media enthusiasts can also participate in the Snap & Win contest throughout July. Guests are encouraged to take photos with the Elephant Parade installation and share them on Instagram or Facebook. The three posts that receive the highest number of likes will win surprise gifts, with additional details to be released through the hotel’s social media channels.
The campaign will conclude on 7 August with Art & Drink, an interactive painting workshop held at Opus Bar. Participants will create their own 15cm elephant inspired sculpture while enjoying light bites and free flow drinks in a relaxed setting. Priced at S$118 nett per person, part of the proceeds from the event will support JOURNEY by TOUCH Community Services. Attendees will also have a chance to win the campaign’s grand prize Thailand getaway.
