From 19 May to 30 June 2026, two familiar food brands in Singapore are coming together in an elevated reimagination of the classic hot dog. Johnsonville, widely known as Singapore’s number one sausage brand, has teamed up with our beloved homegrown bakery BreadTalk.
This exclusive collaboration is aptly titled Where Buns Meet Juicy Sausage.

Carine Lim, the Marketing Director for Johnsonville Singapore, mentioned that this collaboration reflects how strong consumer brands can evolve beyond retail shelves into meaningful food service experiences. She shared that they wanted to create something that combines the comfort of freshly baked favourites with the signature juiciness consumers already know and love from Johnsonville.
On the other hand, Amber Or, Senior Brand Manager for BreadTalk Singapore, shared that BreadTalk is constantly innovating and pushing the boundaries of the traditional bakery experience. To complement the sausage perfectly, BreadTalk created a rustic country bun using wholemeal and rye flour to provide a distinct flavour and texture that brings out the bold flavours of the meat.
We got our hands on these exclusive creations, and here is our verdict on the two new flavours.

Starting with the Cheddar Margherita Sausage, if you are a fan of a classic Italian Margherita pizza, you will love this. This creation is made with Johnsonville’s popular Beddar with Cheddar Sausage, which features a combination of 100 percent premium pork sausage filled with melty cheddar cheese. This juicy sausage rests on BreadTalk’s rustic wholemeal country style bun, which contains 20 percent wholemeal and 5 percent rye flour, giving it a satisfying chewy bite. The base of tangy and bold pizza sauce further brings out the pizza flavours. It is then generously topped with shredded mozzarella cheese for additional cheesy goodness and fragrant fresh basil leaves.

Next up, we tried the Pepper It Up Sausage, which features a combination of the Beddar with Cheddar Sausage nestled in an artisanal wholemeal country bread, topped with mozzarella cheese. What makes this bun stand out is BreadTalk’s house made black pepper sauce, which is an exclusive recipe developed specifically for this partnership. The punchy sauce provides a sharp, savoury contrast and we loved the kick of the black pepper.

These two delightful Johnsonville and BreadTalk buns are priced from S$4.20 to S$4.40, with the exact price depending on the outlet location.

They are available from 19 May to 30 June 2026, or while stocks last, at all BreadTalk outlets. However, do note that they are excluded from certain locations, including Canberra Plaza, Chinatown Point, City Square Mall, Geneo, IMM, Paris Ris Mall, PLQ, Punggol Coast Mall, Rivervale Mall, Sixth Avenue, Sun Plaza, The Central, United Square, V Hotel, Woodleigh Mall, and Zhong Shan Mall.
