Kids in football jerseys can enjoy free entry to the LEGOLAND Theme Park! (Terms and conditions apply)
Planning activities for the June school holidays? Here’s one that is easy, family-friendly, and just a short trip across the Causeway.
Inspired by the upcoming World Cup, LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort is currently running BRICKFEST 2026: Football Edition. Running now till 19 July 2026, the seasonal event combines football challenges, LEGO building activities, live entertainment, and interactive games for both children and adults to enjoy together.
All these football-themed activities are actually just a bonus on top of the usual rides and attractions already included in the same ticket price.
The LEGOLAND Malaysia theme park itself is divided into eight zones filled with more than 40 different exciting rides, interactive LEGO workshops, and the impressive MINILAND, where famous Asian landmarks and cityscapes are recreated in miniature using more than 30 million LEGO bricks.

“Football is usually something families watch together, but BRICKFEST is designed to let them become part of the action.”
Cs Lim, Vice President of LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort
“Train” Like a Football Star!
The entire event revolves around the idea of becoming a football star.
Upon entering the theme park, collect a Mission Card from the “Brick Kick-Off” station before heading off to complete different football-themed activity stations.
At the Brick-tastic Arena, children dribble footballs through LEGO obstacle courses that test speed and coordination. The Brick Strike Challenge focuses on shooting accuracy, while the Brick Table Football station lets players try a mechanical LEGO striker game.

For children who prefer building over running, there are also activities including Build-A-Football and Build-A-Trophy, where kids can design their own LEGO footballs and trophies.

One particularly fun activity is the LEGO Jersey Mural, where families work together to design a giant football jersey using LEGO bricks.
And of course, expect lots of photo opportunities throughout the park. The “Spin Like a Striker” 360-degree camera experience is especially popular for capturing dramatic football victory poses. Perfect for a fun family photo too!
Beyond the activity zones, families can also participate in the “Goal to Win” lucky draw. Families who spend RM199 or more in a single receipt are entitled to enter, with winners announced daily after the Farewell Show.
The Football Atmosphere Is Everywhere
Throughout the day, there are live performances and mini shows happening around the park.
The Beginning Stage hosts opening performances and farewell shows, while segments like Brick Bash & Mix and LEGO Trophy Chase add to the stadium-style atmosphere.

Football fans should also make time for MINILAND, where Sultan Ibrahim Stadium has been recreated in LEGO form together with Johor’s football team.
It is a nice local touch, especially for Malaysian football supporters.
Staying at the LEGOLAND Hotel
To make the most of the trip, consider staying overnight at the LEGOLAND Hotel instead of doing a day trip.
We stayed in the Adventure-themed room during this visit. The room was spacious and very family-friendly, comfortably fitting five people with a king-sized bed, double-decker bunk beds, and an additional pull-out bed.
Book now and enjoy 30% off the Best Available Rate, with breakfast included for up to five guests. From now till 30 June 2026 only.

For families with young children, staying onsite makes a big difference. You can take your time exploring the park without rushing back to Singapore on the same evening.
The themed rooms are also part of the experience. Kids will probably spend half the time exploring the room itself. There’s even a treasure-hunt game in the room, where kids can unlock mystery LEGO gift sets!
Now, isn’t this an easy-win June school holiday idea for families!
