SHARP has officially introduced the AQUOS wish5s, a new smartphone designed to combine everyday safety, durability, and smart features with a refined new look. Building on the success of the AQUOS wish series, the latest model adds an elegant metallic finish, AI-enhanced photography tools, immersive 8way audio, and the signature SOS security functions users have come to appreciate.

Priced at S$399, the AQUOS wish5s will be available in Singapore from 17 April 2026 through SHARP Singapore’s official online channels.

The AQUOS wish5s debuts a sleek metallic design available in Navy and Copper, giving the device a more premium appearance while maintaining its practical everyday feel.

It retains the popular “free curve” design supervised by miyake design, first introduced in the previous model. The softly rounded edges are designed for a comfortable grip, while the metallic texture adds a timeless and modern touch.

AI-Powered Camera Upgrades

Photography gets a boost with AI-powered imaging tools that help users capture better photos effortlessly.

The smartphone features an approximately 50.1-megapixel rear camera, powered by SHARP’s proprietary ProPix lite engine, delivering clearer and more vibrant shots, especially in low light and portrait scenes.

New intelligent features include:

• Automatic scene detection that selects the best shooting mode
• AI Shadow Removal for cleaner close-up shots such as food photos
• Reflection reduction when shooting through glass surfaces

The AQUOS wish5s includes a vibration-activated SOS alert, which triggers a loud alarm and automatically sends the user’s location to pre-registered contacts when the phone is shaken, even if it is inside a bag.
