Royal Caribbean is raising the bar for family vacations once again with the reveal of Hero of the Seas, the cruise line’s fourth Icon Class ship set to debut in Miami in August 2027. Described as the “hero of family vacations,” the new vessel will introduce bold new experiences across eight immersive neighbourhoods, featuring the most pools at sea, a record-breaking 28 dining venues, new family-centric accommodations, and all-new adventure attractions.
Crown & Anchor Society members can begin booking starting April 1, ahead of the general release on April 2.

Entertainment remains a cornerstone, with world-class productions at the Royal Theater, jaw-dropping shows at the AquaTheater, and ice performances at Absolute Zero, the largest ice arena at sea.
Hero of the Seas will set sail on 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, all departing from Miami. Every voyage will include a stop at the award-winning Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas.
