FUJIFILM Marks 40 Years of QuickSnap with Youth Photography Exhibition Across Singapore

FUJIFILM is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its iconic QuickSnap one time use camera with a series of pop-up events and a youth photography exhibition that showcases the beauty of authentic film photography. Running from 25 July to 13 September 2026, the campaign will take place across Singapore Art Museum, Our Tampines Hub, FUJIFILM X Space at Suntec City and One Punggol, bringing together photography enthusiasts, families and young creatives through a shared appreciation for analog photography.

First introduced in 1986, the FUJIFILM QuickSnap revolutionised casual photography by making film photography simple and accessible. Its point and shoot design allowed millions of people to capture spontaneous moments without the complexity of traditional cameras. Four decades later, the QuickSnap continues to celebrate the charm of analog photography, where users complete an entire roll of film before developing their images, creating a sense of anticipation that stands in contrast to today’s instant digital culture.

A key highlight of the anniversary campaign is the Little Big Views photography exhibition, featuring winning entries from FUJIFILM’s youth photography challenge. Captured entirely on QuickSnap cameras, the exhibition presents the unique perspectives of young photographers and demonstrates that meaningful images come from authentic moments rather than filters or AI generated content. The competition is divided into three age categories, comprising children aged nine and below, 10 to 14 years old and 15 to 20 years old.

Visitors can also take part in the QuickSnap Education Corner, a 15-minute guided session that introduces participants to the fundamentals of analog photography. Priced at S$29.80, the experience includes a QuickSnap camera and digital scans of the developed photographs. The Education Corner will be available at Our Tampines Hub on 1 and 2 August and at One Punggol on 12 and 13 September.

The celebrations will also feature family friendly activities including a claw machine, while adults can participate in a user generated content contest by sharing QuickSnap photos taken in Singapore on Instagram using the hashtag #QuickSnap40AnniversarySG. Ten winners will be selected by 31 August and will each receive a QuickSnap camera, redeemable at FUJIFILM X Space.

The campaign begins at the Singapore Art Museum Art Carnival on 25 July from 10am to 5pm before moving to Our Tampines Hub from 27 July to 2 August. It will then continue at FUJIFILM X Space in Suntec City from 5 August to 2 September, before concluding at One Punggol from 7 to 13 September. Admission to the venues is free, inviting visitors of all ages to rediscover the timeless appeal of film photography and celebrate four decades of unfiltered memories with FUJIFILM QuickSnap. https://alvinology.com/2026/07/13/razer-hammerhead-v3-x-hyperspeed-wireless-gaming-earbuds-launches-for-xbox-and-playstation/
