HUAWEI has officially introduced the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series to the global market, unveiling its latest flagship smartphone lineup that combines cutting edge imaging technology, AI powered features and a refreshed design philosophy. Built around the theme “Now is Your Moment”, the new series aims to redefine smartphone photography through the seamless integration of hardware, software, chipset technology and artificial intelligence.
Leading the lineup is the HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max, which features an industry leading 200MP Ultra Large Sensor Telephoto Camera designed to deliver exceptional image quality across long distances. Powered by chip level 200MP RAW real time processing technology, the device supports crisp 20x telephoto video recording while offering CIPA 7.0 image stabilisation to minimise blur during handheld shooting.
The Pura 90s Series also enhances colour reproduction with the new True to Colour Camera 2.0, delivering a 43 per cent improvement in colour accuracy and a 34 per cent wider colour gamut. On the Pura 90s Pro Max, the Ultra Lighting HDR Camera uses a large 1/1.28-inch RYYB sensor to capture detailed and well exposed images, even in challenging backlit conditions. For close up photography, the Pura 90s Pro supports macro photography with a minimum focusing distance of just five centimetres, allowing users to capture intricate details with impressive clarity.
Complementing the advanced camera hardware are new AI powered editing tools built directly into the gallery. AI Composition acts as an intelligent framing assistant by recognising subjects such as people, architecture and landscapes while providing real time composition guidance. AI De glare removes unwanted reflections from glass, windows and screens to reveal clearer images, while AI Move allows users to reposition or duplicate objects within a photo as the system automatically reconstructs the background and adjusts lighting for natural looking results.
The new smartphones also introduce an updated design language inspired by what HUAWEI calls the Rhythm of Colour. The flat edged design is available in a range of distinctive finishes. The Pura 90s Pro Max comes in Blush Gold, Orange Ocean and Graphite Black, while the Pura 90s Pro is offered in Guava Soda, Coconut White and Mulberry Black. The Pro Max also debuts an industry first dual tone gradient metal mid frame that adds a layered visual effect.
Durability has also been improved with the Anti Reflection and Scratch Resistant Kunlun Glass on the Pura 90s Pro Max, reducing screen reflections by up to 70 per cent while offering better protection against scratches and fingerprints.
Powering the user experience is HUAWEI’s new system level AI assistant, Celia, which provides voice-controlled assistance, knowledge-based question and answer support, content drafting and travel related features including navigation through Petal Maps, local information and ride hailing services.
Both devices are equipped with a 6000mAh battery designed for extended daily use. The Pura 90s Pro supports 66W wired HUAWEI SuperCharge, while the Pura 90s Pro Max offers even faster 100W wired SuperCharge for quicker charging times.
The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max is priced at S$1,498, while the HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro is priced at S$1,198. Pre orders will run from 24 to 29 July 2026 through HUAWEI Experience Stores and HUAWEI Official Stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop, with online shoppers enjoying an additional S$30 discount through platform vouchers until 12 August or while stocks last.
The smartphones will officially go on sale from 30 July 2026 through HUAWEI Experience Stores, HUAWEI Official Stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop, as well as selected authorised retailers including Singtel, Best Denki, Challenger, Courts, iShopChangi and MetaPod.
Customers who purchase the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series will receive up to S$886 worth of complimentary gifts, including a HUAWEI MatePad SE 11-inch LTE tablet and HUAWEI Premium Services featuring one year of HUAWEI Care+, one year of APAC warranty coverage and one year of door-to-door pickup and delivery service for repairs.
