Red Bull Air Force Legend Miles Daisher Completes Bangkok’s First-Ever Wingsuit Flight at 260 km/h

Bangkok has entered the history books with its first-ever wingsuit flight, executed by world-renowned Hollywood stuntman and Red Bull Air Force veteran Miles Daisher. Reaching speeds of 260 km/h, Daisher’s breathtaking descent marks a milestone for Thailand’s extreme sports scene and positions the country as a rising destination for high-adrenaline adventure.

Miles Daisher flys at the first wingsuite flight in Bangkok, Thailand on March 26, 2026

A High-Speed Flight Across Bangkok’s Iconic Skyline

Taking off from a plane high above the city, Daisher soared across Bangkok’s skyline in a high-stakes wingsuit glide. His flight took him past lebua Bangkok, the luxury hotel made famous in The Hangover: Part II and known worldwide for its gold-domed Sky Bar & Sirocco.

In a dramatic finale showcasing his pinpoint precision, Daisher safely touched down on a moving cruise boat along the Chao Phraya River, offering a spectacular, never-before-seen aerial perspective of the Thai capital.

The historic achievement was enabled through a partnership between Red Bull (Blue & Silver) and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), combining respect for Thailand’s cultural richness with a shared passion for pushing the limits of adventure sports.

For Daisher, the moment carried personal meaning. Thailand was the first Southeast Asian country he explored with his wife, Nikki, making this groundbreaking jump a full-circle experience.

Hollywood Stunt Specialist, World Record Holder, Aerial Icon

Miles Daisher is celebrated as one of the world’s most experienced aerial athletes, boasting over 12,000 jumps. His expertise has been sought after in major Hollywood productions:

  • He coached Tom Cruise for the motorcycle BASE jump in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning
  • Performed the mid-air rescue sequence “Barrel of Monkeys” in Marvel’s Iron Man 3
  • Starred in aerial films like Human Flight 3D

In 2017, he set a world record by completing 63 BASE jumps in 24 hours, solidifying his status as a global pioneer in extreme flight.

A New Era for Southeast Asian Adventure Sports

Following his successful wingsuit flight over Bangkok, Daisher says this is “just the beginning.” Inspired by Thailand’s landscapes, from city skylines to mountains and coastlines, he aims to continue exploring the country through future adrenaline-fuelled projects.
