The seafood selection alone is remarkable enough to justify the visit. The free flow lobster is practically a money back guarantee in terms of sheer value.

We were impressed by the vibrant Live BBQ Station, where the culinary team prepares succulent Grilled Lobster and Grilled Scallops on the spot.

Beyond the grill, the spread features an abundance of fresh sashimi, cold seafood, and a wider array of ocean catches that will satisfy diverse palates.

What differentiates this buffet above a standard seafood feast is the integration of these fresh catches with beloved local delights. The local influence shines through in dishes like Singapore Chili Crab with Mantou, a messy, glorious affair that demands you get your hands dirty, and Har Lok Prawns where the sweetness of the prawns is amplified by that sticky, savoury sauce.

Additionally, you have your authentic Kampung classics like Ayam Masak Merah, Udang Kam Heong, and Ketam Masak Lemak that would make any macik nod in approval. There are also playful fusion creations that show the kitchen team is not afraid to experiment. Laksa Seafood Mac n Cheese sounds like something that should not work, but it did. Similarly, the Nasi Minyak Seafood Paella takes the Spanish classic and gave it a Singapore spin.

For something meat heavy, the carvery section features a traditional Nasi Biryani paired with roasted lamb and vegetable dalcha. The lamb is tender, the biryani fragrant, and the dalcha provides a tangy contrast.

There’s a decent dessert spread as well, complete with local favourites like Pulut Hitam and Durian Pengat. So leave some room to enjoy these.

For muslim diners with specific dietary considerations, the restaurant provides clear transparency.

While Window on the Park is not MUIS halal certified (as the restaurant also serve alcohol), all ingredients are strictly sourced from halal certified suppliers, and the kitchen uses no pork or lard in any of its preparations. Muslim patrons are advised to dine at their own discretion, and the hotel thoughtfully provides a prayer room within the vicinity for added convenience.
