Shoppers can look forward to a packed calendar of activities this March as four malls under Allgreen Properties: Great World, Pasir Ris Mall, Tanglin Mall, and The Seletar Mall; introduce a series of events designed for families, pet lovers, and night owls alike.
From cat-themed festivals and RC racing to dog carnivals and late-night shopping experiences, the malls will host a wide range of entertainment and rewards throughout the month. Visitors can also enjoy additional perks through the Great Rewards loyalty programme, which can be accessed through its mobile app.
Great World Brings Cats and Cycling to the Spotlight
At Great World, the From Paws to Pedals campaign kicks off with two themed atrium events.
Running from 14 to 15 March, The PurrTown transforms the Level 1 Atrium into a feline-themed marketplace filled with cat-related vendors and activities. Visitors can attend talks covering topics such as grooming, dental care, and advanced veterinary treatments, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy for pets.
The event will also feature a cat adoption drive in partnership with Purely Adoptions, encouraging the “adopt, don’t shop” message. Cat owners can participate in contests such as Best Dressed Cat, Cutest Cat, Grumpiest Cat, and other fun challenges.
The excitement continues with The Great Whee-ly World, running from 16 to 22 March, where the atrium turns into a wheel-themed fun zone with rides, racing games, and cycling challenges. In collaboration with bike-sharing operator Anywheel, visitors can test their pedaling skills on an electric racetrack or take part in a 24/7 cycling challenge via the Anywheel app.
Pasir Ris Mall Hosts RC Racing and Eco Rewards
Meanwhile, Pasir Ris Mall will host the BuddiesRC SpeedFest from 14 to 22 March at its B2 Atrium. The RC racing event offers tracks suitable for both beginners and experienced hobbyists, along with live demonstrations and product showcases featuring the latest remote-controlled vehicles.
Visitors can join the action by spending $40 in a single receipt at the mall or redeeming 100 Great Rewards points for an event ticket.
In addition, shoppers can enjoy 1.5 hours of free weekday lunchtime parking when they spend $40 between 12pm and 2pm from Monday to Friday.
The mall is also participating in the Together for Tomorrow Eco-Exchange Gift Rewards Catalogue, which runs until 19 June. Shoppers can collect stamps for every $20 spent across participating malls, including Johor Bahru City Square. The stamps can be redeemed for eco-friendly items such as reusable utensils, lunch bags, and water bottles.
Tanglin Mall Celebrates Dogs and Easter
Dog lovers can head to Tanglin Mall for the Dog Fiesta Carnival – Sports Edition on 28 and 29 March at the Level 1 outdoor space.
The event will feature Pawlympics-themed activities, including frisbee games, tug-of-war contests, mini soccer matches, and hurdle races. A highlight will be Waggie’s Dog Obedience Competition, led by master trainer Patrick Wong and judged by international obedience judge Ross Carlson. Participants will compete for prizes worth up to $6,000.
Visitors can also enjoy live music by local busker Jeff Ng, browse a pet marketplace, and watch a magic performance during the event.
The following weekend, 4 and 5 April, the mall will host its Easter Piñata Party, featuring activities such as Easter macaron decorating, egg hunts, bingo games, and family entertainment including circus and bubble shows. The celebration will culminate in a Grand Piñata Party Finale, where a 3-metre-tall Easter piñata releases candies and confetti.
The Seletar Mall Extends Hours Until 4AM
For those who prefer late-night outings, The Seletar Mall has extended its operating hours until 4am daily until 28 June, offering visitors more time to shop, dine, and unwind.
Late-night shoppers can participate in the Midnight Locker Surprise promotion from 20 March to 17 May, where spending $30 between 10pm and 3am gives them a chance to unlock prizes such as massage chairs or shopping vouchers.
Another promotion, Spend Tonight, Redeem Tonight, rewards visitors who spend $100 or more between 9pm and 4am with guaranteed prizes including Great Rewards points and e-vouchers.
