Disney Cruise Line has officially launched a new chapter in its global cruise operations as the Disney Adventure welcomed its first guests and set sail on its maiden voyage from Singapore. The launch marks the first time a Disney Cruise Line ship will homeport in Asia, bringing the company’s signature storytelling and entertainment experiences closer to families across the region.
Inspired by more than a century of Disney storytelling, the ship combines beloved characters and worlds from The Walt Disney Company, including stories from Marvel and Pixar, in a range of immersive attractions and themed environments designed specifically for Asian audiences.
The Disney Adventure features seven uniquely themed zones, each offering distinct experiences for guests of all ages.
These include Disney Imagination Garden, Toy Story Place, San Fransokyo Street, Town Square, Wayfinder Bay, Disney Discovery Reef, and Marvel Landing. The areas are designed to bring Disney worlds to life through immersive entertainment, attractions, dining venues, and retail experiences.
Visitors can explore interactive activities, family-friendly attractions, and character encounters throughout the ship, ensuring there is something for every member of the family.
Known for its high-quality entertainment at sea, Disney Cruise Line has introduced over 40 entertainment experiences onboard the Disney Adventure.
Guests can enjoy returning fan-favorites such as Disney’s Seas the Adventure and character meet-and-greets, while also experiencing brand-new activities created specifically for the ship. These include private karaoke rooms, interactive game shows, and a new theatrical production titled “Remember” at the ship’s Walt Disney Theatre.
The ship’s upper decks feature a variety of attractions designed for guests of all ages.
At Marvel Landing, the Groot Galaxy Spin attraction allows guests to pilot a spacecraft in a playful ride inspired by the fan-favorite character Groot. Meanwhile, at Toy Story Place, families can cool off at Woody and Jessie’s Wild Slides, a water attraction themed around the beloved characters Woody and Jessie.
These attractions are among many experiences designed to encourage guests to explore and play throughout the voyage.
Dining is also a major highlight aboard the Disney Adventure. The ship features six main rotational dining restaurants, allowing guests to experience three different venues during their cruise.
Families are accompanied by a dedicated service team throughout their journey, ensuring a consistent dining experience each evening. In addition to the main restaurants, guests can also enjoy quick-service eateries, casual dining options, specialty treats, gourmet cafés, and 24-hour room service.
Before concluding their voyage, guests can explore the ship’s 17,000 square feet of retail space, which includes several first-of-their-kind shopping experiences at sea.
Among the highlights are the flagship World of Disney, the National Geographic Store, and the first dedicated shop for Duffy and Friends, a beloved Disney character collection popular across Asia.
These stores offer a range of exclusive merchandise and souvenirs designed to commemorate the voyage.
As the largest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Adventure can accommodate up to 6,700 guests and is supported by a large crew dedicated to delivering the brand’s renowned service.
