[Review] Valentine’s Just Got Sweeter with Tamago-EN’s New Crepes

Tamago-EN has a new range of desserts now, and this time, they are leaning into something that feels both familiar and fun…crepes! Already a favourite for many, the new Tama Crepe Series comes with options for dine-in and takeaway, making it easy to enjoy whether you are sitting down for dessert or picking one up to go.

I started in-store with the Apple Cinnamon and Oreo Crunch crepes. Both were nicely plated and came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The Apple Cinnamon ended up being my favourite. It was surprisingly not jelak at all, with a light and slightly tart apple filling. Paired with the cold vanilla ice cream, it felt well balanced and easy to finish.

The Oreo Crunch leaned more indulgent, delivering a familiar cookies and cream flavour that works if you are craving something richer.

For takeaway, I tried the Choco Banana, Strawberry Cream, and Matcha crepes. All three were filled very generously with cream, making them feel substantial even without the ice cream. The Strawberry Cream was especially memorable. It genuinely tasted like eating a fresh strawberry cream cake, soft, light, and not overly sweet.

The Matcha crepe had a pleasant depth, with a slight bitterness that balanced the cream well, while the chewy dango balls and red bean filling added texture and made each bite more interesting.

The Choco Banana had banana slices tucked inside the crepe so the flavour came through throughout. On top, it was finished with a generous fan-shaped arrangement of banana slices, Oreo, and chocolate syrup, making it especially pretty for photos without feeling excessive.

I watched the staff make each crepe, and it was clear they put in effort to make them look pretty while being generous with the fillings. It did not feel rushed, and that extra attention showed in both the presentation and the consistency across flavours.

To celebrate the launch, Tamago-EN is also running a 1-for-1 crepe promotion from 10 to 12 February 2026, limited to the first 50 servings daily. On top of that, there is an option to add a third crepe for just , making it a great chance to try multiple flavours in one visit.
