This festive season, Capitol Singapore and CHIJMES are coming together with a line up of experiences that celebrate both Lunar New Year traditions and Valentine’s Day romance in the heart of Singapore’s Civic and Cultural District.
Capitol Singapore
From 30 January to 3 March, Capitol Singapore ushers in the Year of the Horse with Spring in Bloom, transforming its Outdoor Plaza into a vibrant space filled with festive markets, photo spots, live performances and rewarding shopping perks.
At the same time, CHIJMES turns its focus to love from 2 to 22 February with Love in Bloom, a series of programmes inspired by the five love languages that encourage visitors to slow down and connect through shared activities.
At Capitol Singapore, the Spring of Blossoms Festive Market runs from now to 15 February at the Outdoor Plaza, featuring retail booths, handcrafted creations and seasonal treats that make ideal Lunar New Year gifts.
Visitors can also stop by the Spring in Bloom Photo and Zodiac Zone from now to 3 March to discover your 2026 fortune forecast and snap photos with the floral centrepiece. Those who post their photos on Instagram and tag @capitolsingapore can redeem a complimentary gift at the Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski, while stocks last.
Live performances add to the festive atmosphere across selected dates.
Jazz band Shanghai Swingers performs on 6, 7, 13 and 14 February at the Outdoor Plaza, and on 27 and 28 February at the Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski.
On 14 and 15 February, students from The Wushu Lab present energetic wushu performances at the Outdoor Plaza.
Spending Rewards @ Capitol Singapore
Shoppers can enjoy Spend and Redeem rewards from 30 January to 3 March, except 17 and 18 February.
With a minimum spend of $88 across two receipts, visitors receive a set of nine festive red packets and a spin on the sure win Abundance Wheel, with prizes that include Sulwhasoo skincare sets, preserved blooms from Seed and Harvest, and festive sauces from Choon Hoy Parlor.
Those who spend $188 across two receipts can also enter a lucky draw to win a three day two night staycation at The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore with breakfast for two at 15 Stamford Restaurant.
Lunar New Year Specials @ Capitol Singapore
At 15 Stamford Restaurant in The Capitol Kempinski, diners can enjoy a four course lunch or five course dinner featuring modern Chinese classics, or opt for an elegant afternoon tea at the Lobby Lounge.
Sulwhasoo is hosting a live calligraphy experience on 1 February and offering bi weekly saving sets throughout the month, alongside personalised skincare consultations. Dyson is offering savings on selected appliances, Sichuan Alley has a festive Yu Sheng featuring smoked salmon and crispy fish skin. Stirling Steaks is offering a Japanese A5 Wagyu Ribeye add on for its steak buffet until 28 February.
CHIJMES
Over at CHIJMES, Love in Bloom centres around activities inspired by quality time, words of affirmation, acts of service, gifts and physical touch. From 2 to 6 February, visitors can join complimentary Valentine’s Pilates Flow classes at the Main Lawn in the morning and evening, with participants encouraged to bring their own mats.
The Love Market takes place on 12, 13 and 14 February at the Terracotta area, where visitors can browse artisanal gifts ranging from florals and jewellery to crystals and bottled cocktails. From 6 to 28 February, light projections illuminate the CHIJMES Hall façade every 30 minutes from 7pm to 10pm, creating a striking backdrop for evening visits.
On 13 February, a Social Mixer Night invites guests to mingle over drinks at the Main Lawn, with the first 50 guests receiving a complimentary cocktail. On Valentine’s Day itself, visitors can settle in for a Moonlit Movie Night screening of the romantic comedy How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days under the stars, complete with an al fresco drinks booth.

CHIJMES is also offering Spend and Redeem rewards from 2 to 22 February, except 17 and 18 February. Shoppers who spend a minimum of $80 in a single receipt can enjoy a sure win spin for dining vouchers and gifts, including dining experiences at Dew by Whitegrass and rose keychains from Seed and Harvest.

Almost Famous is offering one for one tacos when diners say “I Love You” to the team.
