Over $1.2M Raised at Singtel–Singapore Cancer Society Race Against Cancer 2025

Singapore came together in record numbers for the 17th edition of the Singtel–Singapore Cancer Society Race Against Cancer (RAC), with more than 8,000 participants lacing up at Angsana Green, East Coast Park, the largest turnout in the event’s history. The community raised over $1.2 million to support cancer patients and their families, funding the Singapore Cancer Society’s (SCS) continuum of care programmes, including outreach, screenings, financial aid, rehabilitation, psychosocial support, and home hospice services.

The race was flagged off by Minister for National Development, Mr Chee Hong Tat, who joined participants in celebrating the collective fight against cancer.

A Community Tradition Since 2009

First organised in 2009, RAC has grown into one of Singapore’s longest-running charity races and a powerful rallying point for individuals, families, and businesses. Over 17 years, the event has raised more than million, making a lasting impact on cancer care in Singapore.

This year’s edition introduced a special SG60 60KM Virtual Challenge to commemorate Singapore’s 60th anniversary, alongside long-standing favourites like the Parent–Child Fun Run and CEOs Against Cancer category, which highlights corporate leadership in action.

Businesses Leading the Way

Corporate support played a key role in this year’s success, with nearly 300 teams participating. Title partner Singtel once again contributed 0,000 to SCS’s Help the Children and Youth Programme (HCYP), which provides home tuition, school allowances, family engagement activities, and Achievement Awards for children impacted by cancer. Over 17 years, this partnership has supported more than 3,000 young beneficiaries.
