DBS/POSB Revives Popular $3 Cashback and Heartland Deals for SG60 Celebrations

To celebrate Singapore’s 60th birthday, DBS/POSB is bringing back its much-loved weekly $3 cashback at hawker stalls, wet markets, and heartland shops—part of a broader SG60 initiative aimed at helping Singaporeans stretch their dollar while supporting local communities.

The bank is bringing back its popular SGD 3 cashback at hawker stalls and heartland shops as part of SG60 offers to boost customer savings

From now until 30 September 2025, customers can enjoy over two million cashback rewards when they scan and pay with DBS PayLah! at more than 22,000 participating merchants. Every Saturday, the first 160,000 users will receive up to $3 cashback at SGQR-enabled hawker stalls, wet markets, and heartland shops.

In addition to the cashback, POSB debit and credit cardmembers can enjoy $0.60 meal deals at favourite local F&B brands including Old Chang Kee, BreadTalk, Toast Box, and Polar Puffs & Cakes. KFC is also offering $6 set meals—available while stocks last.

DBS/POSB’s SG60 campaign continues to deliver meaningful perks to help everyday Singaporeans. These include 60-cent grocery deals, mortgage relief measures, heartland merchant waivers, and a DBS Foundation support programme focused on nutrition and mental wellness for vulnerable seniors. Last year alone, the bank subsidised over $14 million in hawker and heartland spending.

Since the launch of PayLah! Scan to Pay in hawker centres, over 70% of transactions have been used for food and groceries. Among cashback recipients, nearly 40% were seniors or lower-income individuals earning below $2,500 monthly. Participating merchants have also seen weekend earnings rise by approximately 40%.

New Marina Bay Experiences on the Horizon

Beyond heartland perks, DBS/POSB is enhancing the Marina Bay experience with new complimentary Friday evening sailboat rides beginning this September—perfect for enjoying sunset views of Singapore’s skyline. This adds to existing weekday day sails.

Weekends will also see the DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre at the Esplanade come alive with free programmes spotlighting Singapore’s vibrant music, film, and poetry scenes.

Starting 1 August, cardmembers can redeem their DBS Points or POSB Daily$ for DBS Rewards Flexi eVouchers via PayLah! and use them across SGQR-enabled merchants. A special promotion offers an extra $60 cashback for every 6,000 DBS Points redeemed for a $60 eVoucher, valid until 30 September 2025.

Through its “Support Our Heartlands” campaign, DBS/POSB continues to champion digital, anti-scam, and financial literacy across neighbourhoods—ensuring that everyday support goes hand in hand with empowerment and education.
