Disney Cruise Line and Marvel Unveil Exclusive Comic for Disney Adventure’s Inaugural Sailings

Disney Cruise Line is teaming up with Marvel Comics to launch an exclusive high-seas collectible: a Special Edition of Amazing Adventures #1, created to celebrate the debut of the Disney Adventure, the cruise line’s first ship to homeport in Asia. The all-original 32-page comic will be available only to guests sailing aboard the Disney Adventure, with complimentary copies delivered directly to their staterooms during select voyages starting December 2025.

Titled Amazing Adventures Special Edition 2025, the comic features Spider-Man, the Avengers, and other iconic Marvel Super Heroes, many of whom will also appear as part of the immersive onboard Marvel experiences.

The comic is penned by Alyssa Wong, acclaimed for their work on Star Wars: Doctor Aphra (2020) and Deadpool (2022), and features cover art by Leinil Francis Yu, the renowned Filipino comic book artist known for illustrating major Marvel titles and co-creating Wave, Marvel’s first Filipino Super Hero.

The exclusive cover art—revealed by Disney Cruise Line and Marvel—features fan favorites Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and Spider-Man, offering a visual teaser of the heroic moments awaiting guests during their cruise adventure.

Originally introduced in the 1960s as an anthology series, Amazing Adventures now returns in a limited-edition format that honors Marvel’s comic book legacy while marking a milestone moment for Disney Cruise Line as it sails into new territory in Asia.
