RIMOWA x Vitra Unveil Limited-Edition Aluminium Designs for 2025

RIMOWA and Vitra have teamed up for a striking new collaboration—RIMOWA Vitra 2025—bringing movement and design into harmony through two limited-edition pieces: the Aluminium Stool and Aluminium Toolbox, launching June 18, 2025. Celebrating mobility, multi-functionality, and material innovation, this collaboration is also marked by an exclusive installation at the iconic Fire Station by Zaha Hadid on the Vitra Campus.

Rooted in a shared commitment to craftsmanship, both brands harness their decades-long expertise with aluminium—seen in RIMOWA’s grooved suitcases and Vitra’s legendary Eames Aluminium Chair. This new capsule reimagines functional design through a modern lens.

The Aluminium Stool is a mobile, multi-use cube crafted from RIMOWA’s signature grooved aluminium and mounted on the Maison’s Multiwheel system. Its interior—lined with Vitra upholstery—includes a removable leather divider for storage, while a detachable seat cushion ensures both comfort and flexibility. Limited to 1,000 pieces, the stool will be offered in Silver & Ice Blue, Silver & Papyrus, and Silver & Emerald, priced at SGD $3,710.

Meanwhile, the Aluminium Toolbox pays homage to Vitra’s 2010 classic by Arik Levy. Reimagined in anodized aluminium, this sleek edition replaces recycled plastic with RIMOWA’s hallmark material, while retaining a sustainable ethos with recycled fabric lining. Only 100 units will be available in the same three colorways, sold exclusively via RIMOWA.com in Europe and Vitra.com worldwide.

Starting 12:15am SGT on June 19, both products will be available online at vitra.com and RIMOWA.com, with the stool also rolling out to selected RIMOWA flagship stores worldwide.

The collection also includes a set of limited-edition sticker packs (SGD $70), incorporating iconic design cues from both brands. These will be available online and in select RIMOWA stores.

The launch is further spotlighted by an immersive installation on the Vitra Campus, running until June 27, 2025, offering a closer look at the fusion of mobility and modular design.
