Vietjet is soaring to new heights in 2025 with the launch of two direct flight routes connecting Ho Chi Minh City to Nagoya and Fukuoka—further expanding its international reach and strengthening ties between Vietnam and Japan.

The inaugural Ho Chi Minh City–Nagoya flight landed at Chubu Centrair International Airport on April 24, followed by the first flight to Fukuoka on April 25. Passengers on both routes were welcomed with onboard commemorative gifts and water salute ceremonies upon arrival, celebrating the airline’s milestone expansion.
The new Nagoya service operates four round-trip flights per week, while Fukuoka sees three weekly round-trips. With these additions, Vietjet now offers 10 direct routes between Vietnam and Japan, totaling up to 138 weekly flights across key cities including Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima, and more.
To celebrate the launch, travelers can enjoy promotional Eco-class fares starting from just USD0 (excluding taxes and fees), available every Friday through December 31, 2025. The special fares apply to international flights to Vietnam, for travel until the end of the year (excluding peak periods and holidays). Bookings are open here and the Vietjet Air mobile app.
As a major hub in Southeast Asia, Ho Chi Minh City offers seamless connections via Vietjet’s robust network—reaching domestic favorites like Da Nang and Phu Quoc, as well as international hotspots including Bali, Jakarta, Sydney, Beijing, and beyond.
Recognized once again by AirlineRatings as one of the world’s safest airlines, Vietjet continues to enhance its passenger experience with a modern, fuel-efficient fleet, top-notch service, and programs like SkyJoy loyalty rewards and SkyCare travel insurance.
