Norwegian Spirit Arrives in Singapore: A New Era of Cruise Adventures in Asia

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) celebrates the arrival of the Norwegian Spirit in Singapore, marking a significant milestone in its record-breaking deployment across Asia. With three ships now sailing the region—Norwegian Spirit, Norwegian Sun, and Norwegian Sky—travelers have more opportunities than ever to explore Asia’s cultural, culinary, and historic treasures.

Norwegian Spirit: Asia’s Gateway to Iconic Destinations

The Norwegian Spirit will embark on itineraries ranging from 8 to 15 days, offering minimal sea days and extended port stays to maximize time in legendary destinations like Osaka, Tokyo, Incheon, Bangkok, and Singapore. Designed for both adventure and relaxation, the ship features revitalized staterooms, 13+ dining options, including the signature Onda by Scarpetta, indulgent treatments at the award-winning Mandara Spa, and world-class entertainment to elevate every moment at sea.

A Trio of Ships Unlocking Asia’s Hidden Gems

Joining Norwegian Spirit are Norwegian Sun and Norwegian Sky, expanding NCL’s presence across eight departure ports:

  • From November 2025 to March 2026, Norwegian Sun will sail 11-to-15-day itineraries across Southeast Asia, including Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
  • Norwegian Sky will make her debut in Singapore as part of her Asia season, offering immersive voyages ranging from 11 to 14 days through the Philippines, Japan, and India until March 2025.

Travelers can also combine cruises with NCL’s Cruisetours in cities like Incheon, Singapore, Tokyo, and Taipei, seamlessly blending land and sea adventures for a deeper exploration of Asia.

Global Adventures Beyond Asia

Beyond the region, Norwegian Spirit, Sun, and Sky will take travelers to bucket-list destinations worldwide, including:

  • Europe: Explore Northern Europe and the Baltics with itineraries like a 9-day voyage from Lisbon to France, Spain, and Belgium or a 9-day journey through Germany, Norway, and Sweden from Copenhagen.
  • Mediterranean & Greek Isles: Discover ancient ruins and idyllic islands with a 10-day Santorini and Athens voyage from Barcelona.
  • Australia & New Zealand: Experience breathtaking landscapes, from rugged coastlines to lush vineyards.
  • Hawaii, South Pacific & Alaska: Embark on “fire-and-ice” adventures, from volcanic landscapes to glacial terrains.

Looking ahead, Norwegian Jade will make her Asian debut from October 2026 to April 2027, offering 16 unique voyages across four homeports: Tokyo, Incheon, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Highlights include cherry blossom season in Japan, late-night departures in Osaka, and overnight stays in Hong Kong.

Introducing More At Sea: Enhanced Value for Every Voyage

Starting 1 January 2025, NCL’s More At Sea package elevates the cruising experience with enhanced perks, including:

  • Access to premium spirits like Grey Goose Vodka and Hendrick’s Gin.
  • Over 100 specialty cocktails served across 80+ bars.
  • Additional specialty dining options for voyages of 7+ days.
  • Expanded Wi-Fi minutes powered by Starlink for seamless connectivity.
  • $50 shore excursion credits per port for deeper exploration.
