The Brand New Heavies Announce ‘Brother Sister 30’ Tour in Singapore

The Brand New Heavies, the trailblazing legends of funk and acid jazz, are bringing their ‘Brother Sister 30’ Tour to town in 2025. Mark your calendars for an unforgettable evening of soulful grooves on 6 February 2025, at The Theatre at Mediacorp.

This special tour commemorates the 30th anniversary of their groundbreaking album, Brother Sister, released in 1994. Featuring timeless classics like Dream On Dreamer, Midnight at the Oasis, and Back to Love, the album propelled the band to global fame, earning a No. 4 spot on the UK charts, over one million sales, and a BRIT Award nomination. Decades later, Brother Sister remains as vibrant and timeless as ever, making this milestone tour a must-see celebration of its legacy.

Fans can look forward to an electrifying performance featuring original members Andrew Levy and Simon Bartholomew, joined by the powerhouse vocalist Angela Ricci and a full live band. The setlist will include the Brother Sister album in its entirety, alongside other hits and fan favorites spanning their illustrious career.

Since their debut in 1990, The Brand New Heavies have defined the acid jazz movement with their sophisticated ’70s funk-inspired grooves. Albums like Brother Sister and its platinum-certified follow-up, Shelter—featuring iconic tracks like Sometimes and You Are the Universe—solidified their place in music history.
