This holiday season, Millenia Walk is transforming into a creative wonderland with Moving Wonders, an artist takeover featuring local and international talent until February 2025. Organized by Pontiac Land Group, this immersive event invites shoppers to explore the imaginative works of six regional artists and discover a captivating centerpiece by Wade and Leta, an internationally renowned artist duo from New York City.
Southeast Asian Debut of Wade and Leta’s Monument to Movement
Fresh from their Tokyo takeover at Ginza Six, Wade and Leta bring their vibrant, interactive style to Singapore with Monument to Movement. Located in The Great Hall, this playful reinterpretation of a Christmas tree invites visitors to engage through built-in swings and rotating elements, transforming the traditional festive icon into a lively, evolving piece. Known for creating “music for the eyes,” Wade and Leta aim to blend visual appeal with a sense of celebration and connection for all ages.
Sustainable Art for a Festive Future
Crafted from recyclable cardboard and durable steel, the installation not only dazzles but also promotes environmental consciousness. As the season transitions, the piece will be refreshed to ring in the New Year, and later repurposed as modular art around the neighbourhood, offering visitors an inspiring glimpse into sustainable design.
Festive Art Experiences Celebrating Local and Regional Creativity
Alongside Moving Wonders in The Great Hall, Millenia Walk showcases a vibrant selection of art from local and regional talent this holiday season.
