AirAsia Cambodia launches its inaugural flight from Siem Reap to Singapore. This new route makes travel between Siem Reap and Singapore more accessible, fostering cultural and economic exchange across borders.
The maiden flight, KT 320, departed from Siem Reap Angkor International Airport at 8:45 AM (local time) and arrived at Singapore Changi Airport’s Terminal 4 at 12:00 PM. Passengers were greeted with a warm welcome from AirAsia Cambodia CEO Vissoth Nam, AirAsia Singapore Country Head Logan Velaitham, and representatives from Changi Airport Group and SATS Ltd. To celebrate, AirAsia distributed exclusive merchandise to passengers on the inaugural flight.
Siem Reap, Cambodia’s premier travel destination, is famous for its UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Park, where travelers can explore iconic sites like Angkor Wat. The city combines ancient heritage with modern charm, offering attractions such as floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake and vibrant local experiences at the Angkor Night Market, making it a must-see for visitors to Southeast Asia.
