Late last year, Morton’s The Steakhouse, a renowned name in the American steakhouse dining experience, made a grand return to Singapore with a refreshed menu. For the past 25 years, Morton’s has remained the go-to destination for upscale dining and unparalleled hospitality. It is one of our favourite go-to places for quality steaks and we are glad they are back.

We were invited for a Sunday lunch tasting and these were the items we sampled:
From just looking at the pictures, I am sure you can tell the portions are huge by Asian standards. My son and I were able to finish everything because we went for a 5km run in the morning to ensure we arrive at Morton’s with a hearty appetite as I am very aware of their generous serving sizes.
Morton’s is known to stick to the fundamentals, focusing on delivering quality ingredients, time-honoured recipes and impeccable service standards. This is what keeps their regulars coming back over the past 25 years. The Sunday Lunch menu delivers on all expectations and is a delightful treat when you are looking for a heavy indulgence. Based on what we sampled, go for the Lobster Tail, Lobster Bisque and the Jumbo Asparagus. These three items are lighter and balance the heaviness of the steaks. As for the steak selection, you really can’t go wrong with any choice. They are always grilled to perfection, pink and succulent on the inside, lightly charred on the outside.
At $168 per pax, excluding the upgrades and drinks, lunch at Morton’s may seem to be on the pricey side, but if you weigh it against the portion size and the quality of the food and service, it will be well worth it.
