Night At Orchard Returns: Emerging Brands Take Center Stage in Singapore’s Prime Shopping District

Night At Orchard is making a highly-anticipated comeback after a four-year hiatus. Set against the glittering backdrop of Singapore’s prime shopping district, this popular bazaar is set to return on Good Friday, March 29, 2024, promising three days of bustling excitement and discovery. Organized by the Orchard Road Business Association (ORBA) in collaboration with events agency INVADE, this series of events will feature 10 monthly editions showcasing the best of emerging local and regional brands.

Night At Orchard aims to breathe new life into the pedestrian walkways of Orchard Road, transforming them into vibrant marketplaces teeming with pop-up stores offering a curated selection of products from F&B, retail, and lifestyle brands. Attendees can expect more than just shopping; workshops, games, and immersive experiences will be scattered throughout the event, adding an extra layer of excitement and engagement.

Running from 3 pm to 10 pm, each monthly edition of Night At Orchard will feature a different theme, ranging from wellness and pets to sustainability, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The March edition, for instance, will see over 50 booths lining the stretch from Wisma Atria to Ngee Ann City, with an array of experiential elements to delight visitors.

Among the highlights of the upcoming event is the participation of homegrown Japanese-inspired minimalist furniture brand Nine.N as the anchor brand. Their booth will not only showcase their sleek designs but also host interactive games where participants can compete to change the cover of their Kaiteki recliners in record time.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Future editions of Night At Orchard will expand to include other parts of the precinct, from ION Orchard to Ngee Ann City and from Forum The Shopping Mall to Wheelock Place, promising even more diverse experiences for attendees.

The return of Night At Orchard follows the success of its 2019 launch and underscores Orchard Road’s reputation as a must-visit destination for differentiated lifestyle and retail experiences in Singapore. The event’s suspension in the following years due to pandemic-related restrictions left many vendors and attendees eagerly awaiting its return.

For brands interested in participating in any of the 2024 editions of Night At Orchard, online sign-ups are available through INVADE’s website.

Plans are also underway to bring in more brands from around the region, with Thailand’s LOMA already confirmed to join the March edition, offering exclusive specialty desserts, silver jewelry, and sartorial offerings straight from Bangkok’s popular Chatuchak Market. Keep an eye out for creative brands from Malaysia, Taiwan, and Korea in subsequent editions throughout the year.
