This directional airflow, emitted at a 45° angle, aligns hair strands for a smooth finish without exposing them to extreme heat, preserving hair strength and minimizing damage.

With a 13-blade impeller spinning at up to 106,000rpm, this motor propels over 11.9 litres of air per second, providing enough pressure to straighten hair without compromising on power.

Intelligent Heat Control

Equipped with intelligent heat control, the Dyson Airstrait straightener features glass bead thermistors that measure airflow temperature up to 16 times per second to prevent heat damage. This data is continuously sent to the microprocessor, which regulates the heating element, ensuring optimal airflow temperature for hair styling.

Versatile Styling Modes

The Dyson Airstrait straightener offers two styling modes – ‘Wet’ and ‘Dry’ – each pre-set with specific heat and airflow combinations for optimal results.
