Celebrate the Year of the Dragon at Yuè (乐) – Aloft Singapore Novena Unveils First Lunar New Year Menu

Yuè (乐), the music-inspired Chinese restaurant at Aloft Singapore Novena, is set to usher in the Lunar New Year with a culinary extravaganza, the first ever since the restaurant’s opening late last year. From January 26 to February 24, 2024, patrons can indulge in a symphony of festive flavours with Yuè’s inaugural Lunar New Year menu, featuring a range of delightful dishes that pay homage to Chinese festive songs.

Key Highlights of the Lunar New Year Menu

Prosperity Yu Sheng – 龙龙的新年来捞鱼生 (熏三文鱼带子捞生):

• A contemporary twist on the traditional Yu Sheng, this dish, priced at $68++ (small portion for 4 to 5 diners) and $108++ (large portion for 8 to 10 diners), features succulent salmon slices, chunky scallop pieces, and a generous drizzle of passionfruit sauce, offering a tangy twist to the iconic Chinese New Year dish. For those seeking extra prosperity, the Abundance Yu Sheng is available at $128++ (large portion only), with juicy baby abalones joining the festive mix.

Receiving Blessings This Season – 迎春接福恭喜你 (6头鲍香菇发菜焖猪手):

• Priced at $88++ (small portion) or $168++ (large portion), this dish features braised 6 Head Abalone, Pork Knuckle, Mushroom, and Black Moss. Slow-cooked pork infused with rich, aromatic seasonings rests on a bed of spinach, creating a culinary piece that symbolises luck and unity.
• Availability: January 26 to February 24, 2024.

Lucky Star Upon You – 福星高照喜上眉稍 Double Boiled Chicken Soup, Fish Maw, Sea Whelk, and Conpoy:

• Priced at $68++, this decadent pot of double-boiled chicken soup with fish maw, sea whelk, and conpoy presents a sensory feast. Delicately boiled, each sip brings forth the essence of chicken and seafood, evoking a sense of home-cooked comfort.
• Availability: January 26 to February 24, 2024.

Five Grains Prosperous New Year – 五谷丰登新年好 Chinese Sausage Fried Rice with Preserved Meat and Sakura Ebi:

• A reimagination of classic wok fried rice, this comfort dish features a harmonious blend of wok-fried rice with savoury cherry blossom shrimps, finely diced, and well-seasoned garnishes, catering to the palates of diners young and old.
• Availability: January 26 to February 24, 2024.

Chinese New Year Set Menus

The Chinese New Year Set Menus at Yue cater to both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations, accommodating groups from four to ten, with prices ranging from $368 to $688. Selected a la carte dishes are also available for dine-in and takeaway throughout the festive period. Pre-order of dishes is required only for the eve of Chinese New Year (February 9, 2024).
