In the heart of Cape Town, Mount Nelson, a Belmond Hotel, commemorates its 125th anniversary with a year-long celebration. The festivities include hosting the MITICO art series, a design collaboration, and the launch of an anniversary product line. Confections x Collections returns for its third year, showcasing “slow fashion” concepts amid designer-inspired confectionery, creating a unique celebration of African designers.

Maroma, A Belmond Hotel, Riviera Maya, which opened its doors in August 2023, welcomes the very first Guerlain spa in Latin America, named Maroma Spa by Guerlain. For the 2024 season, Castello di Casole introduces two new private villas, Villa Thesan and Villa Usil. Launching in April 2024, Coquelicot, A Belmond Boat, Champagne, joins Belmond’s fleet of intimate river boats. Designed by Humbert & Poyet, the boat features three lavish cabins, an indoor salon with a bespoke champagne bar, and an expansive deck with an open-air kitchen. Partnering with Maison Ruinart, Coquelicot offers exclusive experiences, including private lunches and guided tours of the historic Taissy vineyard.

Chef Jorge Muñoz takes the culinary helm at Monasterio, A Belmond Hotel, Cusco, and aboard both Hiram Bingham and Andean Explorer, both Belmond Trains, starting January 2024. Muñoz brings his expertise, blending Asian, Peruvian, and European influences to create new menus highlighting the diverse flavors of Peru. Guests can savor these culinary delights against the backdrop of the stunning Andes.
