Korean Air revives key routes to China and Japan

You can now look forward to reuniting with Changsha, Wuhan, Weihai, Fukuoka, and Nagoya as Korean Air resumes operations on these beloved routes.

The Seoul Incheon-Changsha route will witness flights five times a week, followed by the Seoul Incheon-Wuhan and Seoul Incheon-Weihai routes resuming operations from September 24 and September 27, respectively. This exciting development is set to reignite seamless connections and foster deeper ties between the two Asian neighbours.

Additionally, Korean Air has something special in store for Busan. Commencing on September 27, the airline will recommence its Busan-Fukuoka and Busan-Nagoya routes. With two daily flights to Fukuoka and a daily service to Nagoya from Busan, you can expect convenient travel options, all facilitated by the comfortable Boeing 737-900ER aircraft, accommodating 173 passengers. Notably, this move is also aimed at lending support to the Korean government’s bid for hosting the World Expo 2030 in Busan, further strengthening the city’s appeal as a global hub.

Embracing the growing demand for international travel, Korean Air has ramped up its flight operations across its vast global network, boosting flight frequencies to meet your needs. As of July 2023, the airline has impressively reached approximately 82% of its pre-pandemic capacity, a testament to its commitment to revitalizing travel.

In North America, Korean Air has expanded flight frequencies on popular routes, increasing the number of flights to Chicago, Dallas, and San Francisco. Similarly, in Europe, more flights are now available on routes connecting Incheon to Frankfurt and Milan, offering you greater flexibility in your travel plans.

The airline is also enhancing connectivity to Ulaanbaatar, Sapporo, and Bali, with increased weekly flights on these routes. The Seoul Incheon-Ulaanbaatar route saw a jump from 7 to 8 times a week in July, with plans to further expand to 10 weekly flights in August. Meanwhile, the Seoul Incheon-Sapporo route has already increased from 7 to 11 times a week, and the Seoul Incheon-Bali route will follow suit by the end of August, adding extra flights on Fridays and Saturdays.
