We tried all six of the dumplings selection and particularly liked the ones from Feng Shui Inn and Syun. Featuring a mix of both sweet and savoury; ingredients from both land and sea, the dumplings represent a good mix of everything you would want in a complete feast.

Feng Shui Inn’s Eight treasures foie gras dumpling
One of the highlights of RWS’s rice dumpling collection is the Eight Treasures Foie Gras Dumpling from Feng Shui Inn.
This dumpling, created by acclaimed Executive Chef Li Kwok Kwong, pays homage to his Hong Kong family’s recipe. With melt-in-the-mouth pork belly, handpicked roselle, earthy shiitake mushrooms, and a touch of sweetness from chestnut, mung bean, and organic local sweet potato, this dumpling is a true masterpiece.
It is crowned with eight-head abalone and decadent foie gras, elevating it to a luxurious indulgence.
CHIFA!’s Peruvian duck Juane dumpling
Another standout in the collection is the Peruvian Duck Juane Dumpling from CHIFA!.
Chef de Cuisine Rodrigo Serrano combines glutinous rice, roasted duck, purple potatoes, and South-American spices to create a unique Peruvian-Chinese flavor and aroma.
Inspired by the traditional delicacy “El Juane” (a traditional meal originating from the Peruvian jungles, consisting of chicken, olives, hard-boiled eggs, and rice seasoned with spices), this innovative creation is a treasure for adventurous food lovers seeking new and exciting flavors.
Osia Steak and Seafood Grill’s Australian smoky pork dumpling
For those who appreciate a twist on tradition, Osia Steak and Seafood Grill offers the Australian Smoky Pork Dumpling.
Chef de Cuisine Danny Fong combines intensely smoky Berkshire pork belly, a secret spice mix, and chorizo, creating a dumpling that perfectly balances tradition and innovation. The result is an aromatic and flavorful delight that will satisfy even the most discerning palate.
Soi Social’s Thai sweet potato and coconut dumpling
Soi Social presents the Thai Sweet Potato and Coconut Dumpling, a sweet Siamese dessert dumpling crafted by Chef de Cuisine Surangkana “Aae” Sub-Anan.
This dumpling encapsulates the flavors of Thailand with ingredients like sweet potato, lotus seeds, taro chunks, and coconut flesh. The aromatic glutinous rice, simmered with coconut milk and pandan leaves, adds a symphony of flavors and aromas that will satisfy those with a sweet tooth.
Ocean Restaurant’s Chicken dumpling with scallop and chouchenn
Ocean Restaurant introduces a European twist with their Chicken Dumpling with Scallops and Chouchenn (an alcoholic beverage native to Brittany).
Chef de Cuisine Bernard Lim combines flavors from the sea and land to create a medley of tastes. The addition of savoury conpoy, pistachios, and Brittany’s famous mead chouchenn sets this dumpling apart, making it a luxurious and textured delight.
Syun’s Japanese truffle crab dumpling
Lastly, Syun offers a seafood delight with their Japanese Truffle Crab Dumpling.
Chef de Cuisine Noriyoshi Teruya combines succulent blue swimmer crab meat with truffle-perfumed glutinous rice, resulting in a truly remarkable dining experience. The rectangular shape and delicate steaming process ensure that every bite is filled with exquisite flavors.
