Dance 2022 away at Skechers’ first-ever Sundown Live Year-end Countdown Party happening at Sentosa! Pets are welcome too!

After a two-year hiatus, SKECHERS Sundown Festival is back with its very first, year-end countdown party – SKECHERS Sundown Live. To be held on 31 December 2022, from 4 PM to 1 AM, at Palawan Green, Sentosa, this not-to-be-missed music event will also showcase fireworks, an NFT collaboration by Official Beer, Chang Beer, making it a first for music festivals in Asia.

A satellite event of the SKECHERS Sundown Festival franchise, the 2022 SKECHERS Sundown Live Countdown Event is a one-night-only, single-stage music event to be held on 31 December.

To be held on Palawan Green in Sentosa, a stellar lineup of Asian acts including DJ PIN, DJ Inquisitive and more will be headlined by internationally acclaimed DJ Soda from South Korea who will conduct the countdown set to usher in the new year. Known for her blend of hard dance and hip-hop and bubbly stage persona, DJ Soda is back in Singapore with the Sundown Festival franchise once again after her previous visit at the 2019 SKECHERS Sundown Festival.

With doors opening from 4 PM (31 December) through to 1 AM (1 January 2023), the 2022 Skechers Sundown Live Countdown Party will feature fringe highlights for the whole family, including pets! The first 500 people to purchase tickets at SGD$58 for Happy Hour (4-6 PM) will also be entitled to free flow of Chang Beer.

SKECHERS Sundown Live Countdown Party

The pet-friendly Skechers Sundown Live Countdown Party Fringe will feature film screenings, face painting for children, scratch art, a food village and even massages for charity which will be offered by members of the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped. Part of the proceeds raised from the charity massages will be donated to the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped.

Here’s what’s in store:

• Scratch Art – Scratch Art offers participants the opportunity to uncover their artistic sides through the fine-art medium of engraving.
• Face Painting – Let little ones be transformed into their favorite cartoon characters, animals or superheroes at the stroke of a brush.
• Food Village – Never fear, there’s food at this pop-up village to satisfy all (local) food desires
• Super Film Screening  – The Bad Guys (2022 release)

Parents, pawrents and their families will have the chance to spend the last day of 2022 out by the sea before festivities turn to ushering the new year in through a celebration of Asian music by Asian artists. 

First NFT Festival Collaboration

In a first for music festivals in Asia, Chang Beer, in collaboration with NFTWorks, has come on board to explore introducing NFTs as an element of the Sundown Festival franchise in 2023. A special NFT campaign for the Sundown Festival franchise will be revealed at the SKECHERS Sundown Live Countdown Party on 31 December.
