[Review] Fancy TV Dinners with Impossible Foods and BellyGood

Netflix and chill?

This is not limited to just ice cream and deserts, but savoury treats as well.

Impossible Foods has paired up with BellyGood, a Halal-certified catering solution by Singapore’s Tunglok Group, to recently launch two new “Ready to Heat” meals featuring the award-winning Impossible Beef Made From Plants, exclusively available on BellyGood’s online store and RedMart.

In line with Impossible Foods’ goal to make delicious plant-based meat accessible and convenient, these restaurant-quality meals, curated by the good folks from Tunglok Group, are easy options that are tasty, nutritious and better for the planet.

The Impossible x BellyGood series of meals come in two variants:

  • BellyGood Heat And Eat Impossible Meatloaf With Mushrooms And Onion Truffle Sauce
  • BellyGood Heat And Eat Impossible Meatballs With Classic Tomato Sauce

We tried both and found them extremely quick and easy to prepare.

For the Meatballs for instance, simply place the frozen bag in a pot of boiling water to simmer for 15 minutes, remove the ingredients from the bag carefully with tongs next and plate the dish any way you like. Lastly, finish off with gravy and garnish with fresh herbs for the fancy factors.

They taste pretty good too and are very consistent in quality and flavours with real meat.
