Bring home a Chinese New Year Calligraphy greeting by Visually Impaired Artist Wesley Seah at ION Orchard; 50% of proceeds will be donated to MediaCorp Enable Fund

ION Art gallery presents ‘Chinese Calligraphy Workshop & Showcase with Visually Impaired Artist, Wesley Seah’, as part of ION Orchard’s “Spring into Abundance” celebration. The exhibition celebrates the works of i’mable Collective’s visually impaired artist Wesley Seah.

From 27 to 30 January 2022, at ION Art gallery, Level 4 (12 PM – 8 PM), visitors and shoppers can join an experiential Chinese calligraphy workshop and view works by Wesley.

Bring home a Chinese New Year Calligraphy greeting by Visually Impaired Artist Wesley Seah at ION Orchard; 50% of proceeds will be donated to MediaCorp Enable Fund - Alvinology

Shoppers attending the experiential Chinese calligraphy workshop will learn to write Chinese calligraphy, and bring home a Chinese New Year greeting specially written by him. The workshop is open to the public, with 6 sessions per day from 2pm to 6pm daily, on a first-come-first-serve basis with no charge.

Widely recognized by Singapore’s ministers and officials, Wesley’s work showcases the use of Chinese pigments and acrylic paint. His paintings of auspicious characters and sceneries will be on display and available for purchase at the showcase for a good cause.

50% of proceeds from this exhibition will go towards MediaCorp Enable Fund which helps persons with disabilities realize their full potential and build an inclusive Singapore.
