[#SupportLocal] Love, Afare – New, Rebranded retail brand from JUMBO Group of Restaurants

To rejuvenate their retail branding to cater to the new normal of increased home cooking and dining, JUMBO group of restaurants rebranded their retail brand to Love, Afare.

Literally meant passionate about a spread of food, the launch of Love, Afare, marks the culmination of the Group’s efforts to revamp its retail portfolio, offering authentic local flavours and Singapore culture in a bring home format.

Comprising premix pastes and condiments, the retail packs now feature a more modern and minimalist packaging. In addition, JUMBO has also added a new product line: Merchandise. You can also look forward to its third product line, Snacks and Tea, which is in the pipeline.

Relish, Recreate, Relive

To fully encapsulate the experience of Love, Afare, the logo feature illustrated elements of a warm bowl of freshly prepared food, cutlery, camera, and a heart. The combination of these elements represents ideals of 爱，食，录 or loving, savouring, and sharing all things delicious.

The heart represents the love, affection and passion towards the finer things in life, an illustration of how fans relish dining at JUMBO.

The bowl and cutlery represent the epitome of all the signature dishes and flavours by JUMBO. It also depicts how JUMBO translates the flavours and dining experience into a wide range of bring-home products, to recreate the best authentic taste and memorable time enjoyed at the restaurants.

The camera represents the capturing of treasured moments and sharing them with family and friends of their fond memories interacting with JUMBO, to relive the precious moments.

Create Amazing local and seafood dishes with Love, Afare

Love, Afare’s range of premix condiments and pastes takes the laborious work out of the cooking. These ready-made ingredients are easy to prepare and will help you to elevate your home cooking. They include the following:

• Singapore Chilli Crab Paste (S$8.60): The Singapore Chilli Crab is a must-try dish at JUMBO Seafood. Made with over 10 spices, this zesty and tangy chilli paste is best enjoyed with deep-fried mantou or crusty baguette. The versatile paste can also be used to cook prawns, crayfish, lobsters, squids or even as a pasta sauce.

• Singapore Black Pepper Crab Spice (S$8.60): Another crowd favourite at JUMBO is their Black Pepper Crab. The spice blend follows JUMBO Seafood’s secret recipe, which calls for specially selected roasted black peppers and white peppers. Like its cousin, this spice can be used to cook seafood such as prawns, crayfishes, lobsters, meat or even a plate of aromatic black pepper paste.

• Singapore Cereal Premix (S$4.80): This golden toasted cereal premix is one of the key ingredients featured in another signature dish of JUMBO Seafood: Fried Prawns with Cereal. Gently melt a knob of butter and toast the cereal, then mix it with fried prawns. Add chopped chilli padi as well as curry leaves and to complete the dish.

• Singapore Teochew Style Bak Kut Teh Spice (S$9.90): Since 1955, NG AH SIO Bak Kut Teh has been a hit amongst Singaporeans, who laud its distinct peppery taste. Now, you can serve up the offerings of one of Singapore’s pioneer bak kut teh brands right at home. Simply add pork ribs, pig stomach and meatballs to the peppery pork broth. Best enjoyed with rice or dough fritters.
