[BTS fans alert] BT21 EZ-Link charms now available in Singapore

EZ-Link has recently launched an exclusive series of BT21 EZ-Link charms which are bound to delight BTS fans in Singapore. Unless you have been living under a rock for the past couple of years, BTS is a South Korean boyband that is arguably the most popular boyband on planet Earth now. You can be forgiven if you do not know what BT21 is or how these cutesy characters are linked to BTS.

What is BT21?

BT21 is a project of LINE FRIENDS CREATORS and BTS created on September 26, 2017. It is the first project of LINE FRIENDS CREATORS and is a new IP created with the collaboration of LINE FRIENDS and BTS.

Rather than simply creating avatars of the physical appearance of artists, BT21 consists of 8 different charming characters created by BTS members, where all of them actively participated in the whole process from drawing sketches to elaboration.

The result?

These eight iconic characters:

If you are wondering why there are 8 BT21 characters when there are only 7 BTS members, the last character is created to represent the BTS Fandom.

Can you correctly match which BT21 character is created by each of the BTS member?

Where to collect’em all for the BT21 charms

The newly launched BT21 charms are part of an exclusive series of EZ-Link charms; this is the latest form of EZ-Link’s contactless technology, which allows the charms to be used for contactless retail and transportation payments. The BT21 charm collection consists of eight charms in total.

The charms are individually available across all UrbanWrite and Popular Bookstores at S$14.90 each, with no load value. For every two BT21 2D charms purchased, get S$1 off.
