Netizens bash Dee Kosh doing CWO photo over previous sexual harassment claims

The question on everyone’s mind when a viral photo of Dee Kosh performing a Corrective Work Order or CWO surfaced was, “What happened to the sexual harassment claims?”

A photo featuring a man who appeared to be 31-year-old Dee Kosh surfaced on the internet last Sunday, December 13. Later, Night Owl Cinematics’ CEO Ryan Tan confirmed that the person cleaning the area at Jurong East Library was Dee Kosh, or Darryl Ian Koshy.

Four months ago, Alvinology reported on the sexual harassment accusations hurled against the Singaporean YouTube personality. Several male Instagram users alleged that Dee Kosh made inappropriate comments and requests for them to stay the night at various events, even with the knowledge that the Instagram users were underage.

Dee Kosh at first denied all the allegations, then later said that there was some “truth” to the matter wen screenshots of the conversations surfaced online.

What did Dee Kosh do in Jurong East Library?

According to Instagram account of Ryan Tan, CEO of Night Owl Cinematics, he and Dee Kosh were caught littering and had to perform CWO as per Singaporean law. The littering incident allegedly happened in December 2019.

Ryan also mentioned that he was not hiding the incident, and had posted about it on his Instagram stories after people emailed him to ask about Dee Kosh. He was known to be a close friend of Dee Kosh, but his media outfit had distanced themselves from the YouTube star after the sexual harassment claims surfaced and several cases were filed with the police.

Ryan Tan still expressed support of Dee Kosh.

What did netizens accuse Dee Kosh of?

Alvinology’s previous report mentioned that Dee Kosh had texted a 15-year-old Singaporean inappropriately. Screenshots of the conversation showed that the YouTube star allegedly solicited nude photos and asked the underage boy to join him for an overnight event.

The report said that allegations referred to one Instagram user said he was propositioned to come to a media shoot that was an overnight stay. The Singaporean netizen said that this incident happened two years ago, when he was 15 years old.

Dee Kosh allegedly greeted the boy on his birthday, then discussed the latter’s appearance. The boy was invited to a 10:00 PM media shoot with the YouTube star, but demurred because he was a minor and would not be allowed to go out for such a reason.

While initially combative towards the allegations, he eventually issued an apology, which was the last post he had on his Instagram account.

Netizens bash Dee Kosh over CWO and sexual harassment claims

Singaporean netizens have voiced their disappointment in the lack of update on the sexual harassment claims against Dee Kosh.

Netizens haven’t forgiven him for the drama that happened back in August, comparing him to the objects he was cleaning up.

Some thought that the cases against him had prospered but that this was all that came out of it, but others chimed in that the CWO covered a separate case.

Some suggested a headline to go with the photos.

While this comment directly referenced the details of the allegations against him.

Previously, Dee Kosh and Singaporean vlogger queen Xia Xue called attention to the story of Eden Ang’s sexual harassment allegations. Eden has since faced several more claims of sexual harassment and rape, and have cases with the Singapore Police Force.

Dee Kosh and Xiaxue were also responsible for casting the spotlight on the Lai Wee Kiat, who was accused of employing underage girls for his Singaporean Instababe account and group.
