Sentosa invites all to send well wishes to celebrate National Day, every 20th submission will receive a pair of wireless earbuds! Here’s how

Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) is inviting Singaporeans and friends of the nation to share their hopes and aspirations for Singapore, in a massive Flag of Unity that will form this year’s National Day Parade (NDP) theme, “Together, A Stronger Singapore”.

Organised in conjunction with this year’s National Day Parade, the display will span 4,500sqm across Siloso Beach, and feature 10,000 recyclable red and white flags, each carrying one heartfelt message.

Upcycling of Flags

In line with SDC’s commitment to environmental sustainability, SDC will be working with a dedicated partner to upcycle the flag materials into usable items like bags after the completion of the Flag of Unity.

Here are some Flag of Unity submissions from Sentosa Development Corporation staff:

Abigail Jansen, Guest Insights & Experience: “As a working mom, I’m especially thankful to be surrounded by colleagues who are supportive and committed to working together in helping the community during these trying times.”

Danial Lukman, Recreational Nodes Unit: “It has been a challenging year for all of us but here we are now – stronger than yesterday. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the State of Fun!”

Ng Wenjun, Architecture & Land Planning: “It feels like we are all starting to truly appreciate the little things now. This gives me hope that the future Singapore will be a kinder one. A Singapore for people like you and me.”

Stand a chance to win wireless earbuds

From now till 8 August 2020, head over to Sentosa website to submit your wishes for Singapore, or to read the celebratory messages from others. As part of National Day celebrations, every 20th submission will also receive a pair of wireless earbuds worth $20!

Please note that for the safety and wellbeing of guests, there will be no onsite submissions.
