Cult-favourite American burger chain FIVE GUYS will soon be joining its rival Shake Shack in Singapore! Managed by Zouk Group, it’s slated to open in the fourth quarter of 2019.
Five Guys is famous for its fresh-to-order burgers and free customisable toppings. It’s the UK’s most popular fast-food chain and the Burger Restaurant Brand of the Year in the US. Once a humble family-run business, it now has over 1,600 restaurants worldwide.
The fast food at Five Guys is prepared fresh—no freezers, no microwaves, and no timers. Their Singapore menu will be the same as that in the US and Hong Kong, including their hot dogs and hand-cut fries cooked in 100% pure peanut oil.
The location and prices have yet to be confirmed. Unfortunately, it won’t be Halal-certified, as it’s also offering craft beer.
The introduction of Five Guys comes as part of Zouk Group’s F&B expansions in Asia, and it is reportedly gearing up for more. It will also be launching the FUHU Restaurant & Bar at Resorts World Genting, which just welcomed Zouk Genting in May.
