2017 versus 2018
In 2017, the K-Pop momentum continues in Singapore this year as Spotify’s data revealed that BTS dominated the most streamed group chart followed by Maroon 5, fellow K-Pop group – BLACKPINK, Imagine Dragons and Coldplay.
This year, JJ Lin dominated the most streamed local artists’ chart followed by Stefanie Sun, The Sam Willows, Gentle Bones and Tanya Chua.
Jay Chou and Ariana Grande topped the most streamed male and female artists chart respectively in Singapore, dethroning Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift from last year.
