Those of you familiar with the West area may frequent malls such as IMM and Big Box for affordable furniture or Jem and Westgate for some shopping therapy, but many tend to overlook JCube due to its slightly further distance from the Jurong East MRT station. However, after you read today’s review, it may convince you to head over to enjoy the range of activities and shops that they provide!
Food Options: 4/5
There are plenty of food options here from restaurants to a Kopitiam!
The Kopitiam is located in the basement and offers a rather plentiful range of wallet friendly food options.
There are also many restaurants such as Shi Li Fang which offers hotpot at reasonable prices, and The Good Trio which offers Chinese delicacies.
If you are in a rush or feeling adventurous, you can also choose to get your meal from the Chef In Box Vending Machine! From mains to snacks to drinks, you definitely will be able to find something to satisfy your taste buds with.

Uniqueness: 5/5
What makes JCube stand out the most is, of course, their ice skating rink!
Whether you are an aspiring figure skater or simply looking for an activity to enjoy with family and friends, the rink offers hours of fun and laughter!
If you’re not a seasoned ice skater, don’t worry! There are skiing aids available for both adults and kids as well as Learn-To-Skate programmes for budding learners!
If ice skating is not your thing, you can opt to people-watch by bagging a seat at the viewing gallery. Who knows, the kid you spot training on the rink may well be the next figure skating superstar!
Apart from the ice skating rink, JCube is also a shopping haven for teenagers as J-Avenue on the 2nd floor offers a huge range of blogshop-style and trendy clothes at extremely affordable prices.
Tenant Mix: 4/5
There is really a huge range of shops here to meet everyone’s needs and most of them cannot be found in the neighbouring Jurong East malls!
For gamers, there is an Internet cafe located on the top floor. The place features a sizeable number of computers so you don’t need to worry about having to wait or not getting to book one.
There is also an arcade for you to have some fun with friends!
There is also a mini Daiso in the mall, although it is definitely smaller than the one at IMM.
Beside the ice skating rink, there is also Teo Heng Karaoke Studio if you prefer to indulge in a less physically strenuous activity.
There is honestly a myriad of activities for you to enjoy, whether you are young or old!
