There’s are two new hotels launched in Singapore by French multinational hotel group, Accor Hotels, in the Orchard Road vicinity – Novotel Singapore on Stevens and Mercure Singapore on Stevens. Together, the two hotels are being marketed as Singapore’s newest integrated lifestyle hub with a focus on F&B and sustainability.
The complex features a total of 772 guest rooms, 14 dining outlets, two outdoor pools, a tennis court, a 24-hour gym and a function space that can accommodate over 500 guests. It also features a series of pods to accommodate an additional nine dining outlets offering local and international cuisine from around the world. The two hotels are connected and guests get to enjoy facilities and amenities across both hotels. Novotel houses 254 rooms while Mecure houses the other 518 rooms. Asher and I spend a weekend at Novotel Singapore on Stevens for a staycation and were impressed with the tip-top hospitality and slew of lifestyle facilities.
The room we stayed in:
All rooms come with free Wi-Fi and lush beds to plunge into after a long day out. Accor is committed towards sustainable tourism and each of the bathroom comes equipped with eco-friendly shower amenities.
I am most impressed by the abundance of greenery featured within the hotel premises. Our impression of hotels tend to be cold and concrete, but this is a good deviation from the norms.
During our stay, Asher and I spent the day swimming in the pool, followed by a workout session in the gym. This was to burn off the calories from all the fine dining during the breakfast and dinner buffet at the in-hotel restaurant, Food Exchange.

For breakfast:
As it was the festive Christmas period then, the hotel was hosting a sustainable Christmas market, featuring curated vendors with a commitment to sustainability. We went to check it out for some last minute Christmas shopping.
