ZoukOut 2017, Asia’s largest beach music festival, will be held at Siloso Beach in Sentosa on Friday, 8 December 2017 and Saturday, 9 December 2017.
As the volume of vehicular traffic is expected to be higher than usual, with limited parking lots available on the island, party revellers and guests visiting Sentosa are encouraged to enter the island by public transport and use Sentosa’s network of intra-island transportation during this period.
Use Public Transport and Connect to Sentosa’s Island Transportation
Guests attending ZoukOut 2017 are advised to take the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) to HarbourFront MRT Station. From there, they can connect to the Sentosa Express monorail located on Level 3 of VivoCity (next to Food Republic) and alight at Beach Station. An Island Admission charge of $4.00 per person is applicable for guests entering the island via the Sentosa Express. Guests may also opt to tap and go with their EZ-Link cards. The Sentosa Express operates from 7.00am to 12.00 midnight on 8 December, and 6.30am to 12.00 midnight on 9 and 10 December.
Bus Service 123 offers Greater Convenience into Sentosa
Guests can also take SBS Transit’s Bus Service 123 into Sentosa. Service 123 terminates at Beach Station and provides a direct connection to the resort island from multiple points in the central region of mainland Singapore, including major MRT stations such as Tiong Bahru, Orchard, and Fort Canning stations. In addition, Service 123 calls at other stops within Sentosa, including Resorts World Sentosa and Merlion Plaza, making travel within Sentosa easier.
From Bukit Merah Bus Interchange, Service 123 operates from 5.45am to 11.45pm from Mondays to Saturdays, and from 6.00am to 11.45pm on Sundays and Public Holidays. For guests taking the bus from Sentosa’s Beach Station Bus Terminal, Service 123 operates from 6.00am to 11.45pm from Mondays to Saturdays, and from 6.15am to 11.45pm on Sundays and Public Holidays.
In addition, there will be a Sentosa Bus service between Beach Station and HarbourFront Bus Interchange available from 6.00pm to 8.00am on 8 December, and 6.00pm to 9.00am on 9 December. This fare for the inbound Sentosa Bus service is $2.00 per person.
Meanwhile, guests heading to Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) during this period may choose to board the RWS 8 bus service from the bus stops outside VivoCity and HarbourFront Station. Its inbound fare is $1.00 per person and the service runs from 5.45am to 11.45pm daily.
Free Entry via Sentosa Boardwalk
Guests can also take a scenic stroll into Sentosa via the Sentosa Boardwalk, where admission is free for all guests.
Experience a Scenic Sky Ride to Siloso Beach
With the Singapore Cable Car Sky Network, guests have an another convenient option of accessing Siloso Beach by hopping on the Mount Faber cable car line from Faber Peak Singapore or HarbourFront Centre into Sentosa. Guests can then get on the on-island Sentosa cable car line at the Merlion Station or Imbiah Station for a scenic ride to Siloso Point Station.
Guests who wish to ride on both the Mount Faber and Sentosa lines can buy the Cable Car Sky Pass at $33 for adults and $22 for children1. Alternatively, they can purchase the on-island Sentosa Line ticket at $13 for adults and $8 for children2, and start their ride from the Merlion Station to the Siloso Point Station. The Singapore Cable Car Sky Network operates from 8.45am to 10.00pm (Last boarding at 9.30pm).
Intra-island Bus Services on Sentosa
For guests visiting other parts of Sentosa, two on-island bus services, Bus A – Westbound and Bus B – Eastbound, operate from 7.00am – 12.10am daily to allow guests to stay on the island for night events and programmes, as well as connect with the last Sentosa Express train.
- Bus A – Westbound serves the central precincts of Sentosa including Imbiah Lookout, Siloso Point, Merlion Plaza and RWS every 7-15 minutes.
- Bus B – Eastbound serves the Eastern part of Sentosa, covering Sentosa Cove, Sentosa Golf Club and EtonHouse Sentosa every 20-35 minutes.
