KidsFest​, a three-week festival of world-class theatre productions for children and the entire family will be making its highly anticipated return to Singapore next year for its 7th year running.

Between 19 January 2018 to 11 February 2018, KidsFest promises a dazzling adventure of six theatre productions adapted from the best-loved children’s books staged across two venues – Victoria Theatre and KC Arts Centre – Home of the Singapore Repertory Theatre.

Young theatre lovers and enthusiastic fans can look forward to the new production and returning favourites like:

• Hans Christian Anderson’s classic tale Ugly Duckling brought to life on the festival’s stage for the first time

• Classic family favourites The Gruffalo, a mainstay since 2013, and the immersive and educational Dinosaur Zoo featuring prehistoric creatures making a return by popular demand.

• The music-filled colourful farmyard adventure in What The Ladybird Heard based on the award-winning picture book by Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks.

• Meeting favourite canine characters in Hairy Maclary and Friends as they bound off the page onto the stage.

Expected to attract 21,000 theatregoers in its 7th edition, KidsFest 2018 is guaranteed to be a fun-filled educational time for the entire family!
