If you are a fan of Miffy, you would know she’s not Japanese and she’s not friends with Hello Kitty.
Created by Dick Bruna, who sadly died in February this year, Nijntje is the original name of Miffy and she’s Dutch.
Her name comes from “konijntje” which means “little rabbit”. Olive Jones, an English translator, later christened her Miffy.
From The Netherlands to Singapore, Miffy the rabbit is in town. Featuring 10 life-size Miffy statues (1.6m tall), Miffy is here to explore the best things to do, see and eat.
