McDonald’s Nasi Lemak burger that was launched just in time for Singapore’s National Day has been sold out. So well-loved and so sedap, the patriotic burger was sold out just two weeks after its launch.
Senior director of Marketing, menu and digital innovation at McDonald’s Singapore, Agatha Yap said: “We will certainly consider suggestions to bring it back sometime in the future.”
Other limited edition items such as the Chendol McFlurry and Bandung McFizz have also sold out.
McDonald’s Singapore has launched a new limited edition Eggcellent McSpicy burger ($5.75 a la carte, or from $7.40 as part of an Extra Value Meal) from Wednesday (26 July). The twist on the original McSpicy features spicy chicken thigh with egg.
Also new is the Dinosaur McFlurry (from $3) and it’s available for a limited time only.
As part of 50 years of National Service (NS50) celebrations, all past and present National Servicemen will get a free Apple Pie or Hot Fudge Sundae with every Extra Value Meal purchased (after breakfast hours) from 4 to 10 August.
Eligible customers will have to present their SAFRA Card, 11B or Pink IC to redeem their treat.
For the rest of us, its signature vanilla ice cream cone will be priced at 50 cents from 4 to 10 August, as part of National Day celebrations.
