Singapore billionaire Peter Lim’s daughter gives birth to baby boy; who is Kim Lim’s husband?

Singapore billionaire Peter Lim’s daughter revealed her wedding date in an Instagram post on Friday (21 July), three days after giving birth to a boy.

Kim Lim, 24, posted a video showing the invitation with words: “Save the Date 23rd March 2018”.

On Friday morning, football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who is in Singapore for a one-day stopover, visited the Lim’s family at Thomson Medical Centre.

The Real Madrid player is here to sign an endorsement deal brokered by Mint Media, a Hong Kong-based company owned by Mr Lim.

The billionaire owns and manages the player’s image rights, except those related to Real Madrid, local media reported.

The family’s spokesperson told local media that Ms Lim had married earlier and would prefer not to reveal the identify of her husband.

Who is Kim Lim’s husband?

Ms Lim has not revealed the identify of her child’s father.

However, past local media reports have said she is rumoured to be engaged to Hong Kong Macau casino tycoon Stanley Ho’s son – Mario Ho Yau Kwan.

Both had posted photos on their Instagram accounts on 31 December 2015 supposedly announcing the news.

Though the photos are no longer available, Ho, 22, wrote along with the photo on his Instagram (@momomarioho): “Beyonce told me if I like something, I should put a ring on it. Well, I liked it so I put my ring on it ?? welcome to Macau, princess Kimmy.”

On the same day, Lim (@kimlimhl) posted a photo of them with a ring emoji.

In February last year, Lim and Ho were seen spending Valentine’s Day together in Paris, France.

He posted a photo of their hands wearing couple rings and wrote: “I want to say she’s one in a million, but that’s statistically idiotic because then there’d be 7000 of her in the world.

“Therefore, what do you do when you find the ‘one in 7 billion’? You “tie her down” with an even nicer ring.”

Mario Ho graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2016 and in the same year, he was accepted into the university’s Master of Finance Program. He is the third of five children of Angela Leong, Stanley Ho’s fourth wife.

Stanley Ho is nicknamed “The King of Gambling”. In 2011, he was the 13th richest man in Hong Kong with a net worth of US$2 billion. He is also Macau’s wealthiest person and among the richest in Asia.
