If you love to cycle, here is an awesome accessory which has finally arrived on Singapore shores, much to the excitement of the growing bike communities here.
BH60 uses wearable technology to improve safety, communication and provide helpful information for riders.
I was one of the first few who got to try out the helmet in Singapore for a ride:
Watch this demonstration video to learn more about the smart helmet:
With the Livall Bling helmet, cyclist can answer phone calls safely while cycling by talking through the helmet microphone; easily toggle between audio tracks with the clip remote on the bike handle; take photos and even beam signal LED lights at the back of the helmet with the remote!
There is also an interesting emergency alert feature whereby the bluetooth connected helmet will send out SOS signal to your emergency contacts with your GPS location if the helmet dropped upside down on the ground with no response for a long period of time.
If you are into functional old school stuff, there is a walkie talkie feature which I didn’t get to try as you will need someone else with another smart helmet to message to. I figured this will be very useful for communicating during a mass cycling event.
To get started using the helmet, you will need to download the Livall Riding App on your smartphone and then connect the helmet to your phone via bluetooth using the app.
The patented Nano Cadence Sensor connected to the Livall Riding App also help track performance including RPMs, speed, distance traveled and calories burned.
For avid cyclists, this helmet is specifically purposed built to make it easier and safer for smartphone usage while cycling.
For Pokemon GO trainers, you can now cycle and not miss out any Pokestop or Pokemon alerts from your smartphone notifications!
