In any case, Jetstar will be introducing Singlish announcements on Tuesday 9 August, as part of the airline’s National Day celebrations.

Customers flying into Singapore on selected Jetstar flights can expect to hear a Singlish version of the familiar on board announcements, made by the pilots and cabin crew.

Originally launched as an April Fool’s Day prank this year, Singlish flights are now a reality.
